About us
We're a team of 34 experts in signal processing, acoustics, consumer electronics, and media production, founded in 2019 by Audun Solvang, Jonas Rinde, and Sigurd Saue. Most of us are based in Trondheim, Norway, though a few team members hang out in Oslo (but secretly wish they were in Trondheim too).
We're on a mission to simplify podcast and broadcast journalism production, creating intuitive hardware and software that’s easy to use and delivers top-notch audio quality. We’re passionate about sound, stories, and human connection, building technology that lets creativity shine without getting tangled up in technical details.

Remove the noise to amplify the story
Our vision is to make voices heard. We imagine a new way of audio production that is intuitive, creative, and collaborative from start to finish. We remove barriers between people and technology, producers and engineers, as well as hosts and guests — connecting the dots between stories and listeners.
Many challenges exist between recording and publishing. Getting ready and setting up equipment can feel like a time drain. Cables, microphones, and obtrusive stands get in the way of natural conversations. Laborious editing and audio cleanup distract you from being creative with the content. Faced with heaps of hurdles and complexities, even the most experienced creators sacrifice quality when crafting a story.
Great stories deserve great sound. Nomono solves these fundamental problems with thoughtful design and intelligent signal processing, providing exceptional audio quality in a seamless user experience. We create tools for great storytelling that inspire collaboration, new ideas, and immersive content. We make audio production straightforward, motivating, and exciting to let you focus on what really matters — telling great stories.
